The first floor of the home has spacious, paneled rooms ideal for entertaining.  The large living room, with stone floors and massive fireplace, features a high ceiling with dramatic open truss work reminiscent of an Austrian hunting lodge.  The room’s shutters and interior friezes are intricately decorated with some romanticized Austrian hunting scenes.  The stone flooring and cozy wall paneling is continued through the dining room, kitchen, butler’s kitchen and main floor bedroom.  Also on this level is Morgan’s interpretation of a nordfriesische bauernstube, a German phrase for a unique style of room where people gather to eat, drink and enjoy themselves.  

Upstairs is the master bedroom and bathroom, a large bedroom with separate bath, and two smaller bedrooms and bathroom with access to the back stairs that lead to the kitchen.

The outside of the home is equally magnificent with its regional inspirations apparent in the exterior stone and wood work.  Its steeply pitched roof echoes the shape of nearby trees and mountains, with the lake side of the building being primarily glazed.  Adjacent to the lake is a large patio with a massive stone fireplace and bar-b-que ideal for cooking and entertaining.  Also on the grounds is a tennis court and separate four-bedroom guest cottage that was designed with the same flair as the main home.
